Dotaz: vycisteni debianu

Ahoj, potreboval bych vycistit debian od vsech nepotrebnych balicku. Tim myslim opravdu vse, potrebuju pouze nabootovat a odesilat soubory pres ftp a ssh na vzdaleny server. Jeste se potrebuju pripojit pres mobil na internet. Vse ostatni potrebuju dat pryc (vcetne napoved, programu, ... - proste vsechno). Idealni by bylo, kdyby se to veslo do 256MB nebo min a stacilo tomu malo RAM (<=32MB).

Predem dik vsem za rady, sam nevim co presne je v systemu potreba a co ne.

Nebude jednodušší a čistší Debian nainstalovat znovu? Zvolit minimální systém a jen doinstalovat potřebné balíčky. Při odinstalaci může nastat dost problémů, může zůstat dost programů nainstalovaných a odinstalace by byla metodou pokus/omyl

Ja mam minimalni instalaci do ktere jsem jeste nic nedoinstaloval. Ma to 406MB a to se mi zda hodne. Chtel bych to vycistit.

Tak to asi nemas minimalni instalaci, ale uz jsi tam neco nainstaloval. Debian Etch ihned po instalaci ma cca 120 MB (po smazani cache baliku z /var/cache/apt/archives/). Pri ruznim mazani neprilis dulezitych veci (dokumentace, locales, timezone data, iconv tabulky, apt seznam dostupnych baliku) se lze dostat na cca 60 MB.

to jadro je tam ve skutecnosti jenom jedno, druhy balicek je pomocny ktery ma stale stejne jmeno a jeho novejsi verze zavisi na novejsim balicku jadra ktere ma v nazvu vyssi verzi(jestli jsem to pochopil dobre)

Mas pravdu, metabalicky nepouzivam prave kvuli zavislostem pri cisteni, ale porad muze neusetrit cennych 24,6kb .

Ted vidim ze chtel na net z mobilu (pokud to chapu spravne), takze asi pridat wvdial a pokud nebude mit pevnou IP tak nerusit dhcp klienta.
