USB disk - zálohování

Zdravím,

k serveru mám připojený 1TB USB disk. Zálohuju na něj data serveru. Zároveň mám tento disk zpřístupněný přes Sambu, kvůli zálohování svého PC s Win 7. Vše až donedávna fungovalo naprosto v pořádku, nicméně teď se začlo dít to, že když se sputí zálohování dat na mé stanici s Win 7, záloha probíhá a nejednou se server zakousne. V logu se objeví níže uvedené hlášky. Jediné co pomůže je natvrdo odpojit disk, server se vzpamatuje, připojit disk, namountovat a restartovat sambu. Nevíte, kde by mohl být problém?

Disk je zřejmě vážně poškozen, tipuji to na vadné sektory. Připojil bych jej k nějakému počítači a nechal prohlédnout přes SMART.

Děkuji za reakci. Také jsem došel k tomuto závěru, nicméně ten disk jsem zkusil na pár dní vytáhnout, připojit přímo přes USB k mému PC a tam šlapal jak hodinky. Takže nevím. Zkusím tedy ten SMART.

Každý problém ma své logické, snadno pochopitelné nesprávné řešení.

Problém bude v připojení na usb, připoj disk přímo na kabel. (SMART se s USB nekamarádí.)

Co myslíte tím připojit disk přímo na kabel? Toto je USB disk.

To znamená rozšroubovat a disk vytáhnout a připojit přímo do PC na řadič.

hdparm má v sebe rannú podporu aj pre tunelovanie S.M.A.R.T príkazov cez USB prevodníky. Len je mu to treba vnútiť cez parameter.

já USB disky normálně vyčítám přes gsmartcontrol.. se smartctl neumím nastavit parametry aby to komunikovalo a píše mi to to co Vám, ale s gsmartcontrol mi to kupodivu jde se všemi boxy co jsou založeny na jmicron chipsetech :-)
