Řešení dotazu:
Skontroluj disk pomocou príkazu smartctl -x /dev/sdb . Ak to nie je prítomne tak nainštaluj balík smartmontools ak máš debian.
Ako ďalší postup je použiť príkaz badblocks -v /dev/sdb a výsledok daj sem.
Druhá operácia môže trvať dlhší čas.

Výpis z badblocks -v /dev/sdb dodám hned, co se test dodělá.
Podľa výpisu s.m.a.r.t by mal byť disk v dobrom stave. badblocks je test jednotlivých sektorov disku. Potom pozri dmesg, či sa opakujú spominané chyby. Tento test by mal dostatočne zaťažiť disk aby sa overilo, či nie je problém napajaním.Dobre by bolo napísať o akú zostavu ide a aký to ma celé zdroj.
Ešte je možnosť, že by mal ten disk nejakú šetriacu funkciu firmwaru, ktorá nefunguje správne.
Tak v průběhu testu jsem drknul do USB kabelu (u konektoru na HDD) a disk se ihned odpojil. V dmesgu se objevilo tohle:

Běžel mi u toho badblocks a začal vypisovat kupu "vadných" bloků. (Hádám, že to bylo kvůli tomu, že se ten disk odpojil) badblocks jsem tedy pro jistotu pustil znovu a pořád běží. Jede asi hodinu a zatím to nenašlo žádnou chybu. Dmesg taky nezobrazuje žádnou novou hlášku.
Disk se zatím taky neodpojil (když nepočítám to drknutí do kabelu)
Jinak jedu na notebooku Lenovo G530 4446.

Píšeš, že sa odpojil pri pohnuti káblom diksu. Skúšal si vymeniť kábel k tomu externemu disku ?
Já bych neřekl, že problém je v chybných sektorech na disku, protože z protokolu je vidět, že mezi připojením a odpojením žádné chyby nejsou. Naopak se objeví až po té, což je logické, protože blokové vrstvě zmizel hardware včetně požadavků, které byly odeslány před odpojením.
Tipnul bych si na chybný USB řadič nebo nedostatečné napájení disku nebo chybu v USB redukci. Tyhle věci bohužel nemají žádnou diagnostiku. Jediné, co bych doporučil, je vyzkoušet stabilitu s jiným počítačem, nebo vyzkoušet disk/redukci s jinou redukcí/diskem. Především s méně energeticky náročným diskem.
Ještě je možné, že Linux USB zařízení odpojí po překročení 100 mA, jak velí specifikace. Jestli by ale o tom něco rozumného napsal do protokolu, netuším.

To kolik skutecne zarizeni odebira USB sbernice standarnimi prostredky nezjisti. A ze by to bylo pouze 100mA se mi take nezda. Mel jsem za to, ze je to kolem 0.5A na zarizeni.
V openSUSE se ten disk neodpojuje?
Tak jsem použil jiný USB kabel a disk se přestal samovolně odpojovat.
