Sun Java ES 5 - instalace Application Serveru

   V instalaci JES je aplikační server(AS) Sun Java System Application Server Enterprise Edition konkrétně ve verzi 8.2 . Je to komfortní kontejner J2EE pro EJB, JSP a servlety. Je po DS druhým základním kamenem JESu (s určitým omezením se dá použít i Java Web Server z JES), poskytuje běhové prostředí většině ostatních aplikací JES (nebo jejich částem). Které technologie, standardy podporuje a další podrobnosti viz. zde. Já se opět soustředím na instalaci a rozběhání AS.

Zároveň s AS se nám nainstalují další komponenty nutné pro jeho běh:

• High Availability Session Store
• Message Queue
• JavaDB

a já si k nim přidám ještě Monitoring Console která slouží ke sledování funkce a výkonosti většiny komponent JES

O instalčním prgramu JES jsem již psal, vrhnu se tedy rovnou na popis instalace. V souboru AS.state budu mít zaznamenané ručně zadané hodnoty pro příští, přípdaně Vaše použití.

• několika tečkami vedle sebe ... budu přeskakovat dlouhé texty
• tučně jsou vyznačeny ručně zadané volby.

Protože jsme zvolili instalaci s ručním nastavením musíme postupovat podle popisu v Sun Java(TM) Enterprise System Installation Guide konkrétně v kapitole Application Server Postinstallation Configuration. Pojďme na to.

A je to .... AS je nainstalovaný. Další krok je vytvoření instance AS (stejně jako DS je stavěný na běh více instancí z jedné instalace). Pomocníkem nám bude administrační program AS /opt/sun/appserver/bin/asadmin

Teď si odkontrolujeme funkčnost instalace. Nejdřív zkontrolujte nastaveni FW.Musíte mít přístupné porty 80 (http), 443 (https) a 4849 (AS admin console). Na otestování nám bude stačit libovolný GUI prohlížeč. Namiřte ho na toto http://sjes.example.com. Pokud je vše v pořádku uvidíte strohou úvodní obrazovku AS. Pokud tomu tak neni prohlédněte logy v adresáři /var/opt/sun/appserver/domains/sjes.example.com/logs/.

To je pro dnešek vše. Příště doladíme instalaci AS a budeme se moci přesunout na další části JES.

Proc nenainstalovat verzi 9? Ja tedy nejsem zadny prebornik v linuxu, ale instalace je naprosto trivialni. Stahnu instalator od SUNu a nainstaluji. Po spusteni serveru staci http://localhost:4848/ do admin konsole a zbyle veci nastavit zde.

P.S. Osobne se tesim na glassfish v3, pry by mel jiz nativne podporovat (ve webovem kontejneru PHP a dalsi skriptovaci jazyky). Diky tomu odpada dalsi sluzba, kterou musim resit :)
